mojang and secrets

Hello everybody!

Greetings from stressed-island. i don`t know what happened but for some reason i constantly have a lot of things to do at the same time and there seems to be no end. Luckily though, i only have good news to tell you which makes all kinds of work go easily.

First off: Do you remember that I talked about our new cottonbags in a former blogpost? While they have been available in my NDC onlineshop for a while, they now moved into their first physical shop: Mojang.

Mojang is a very beautiful little shop in Hägersten, Stockholm. I`ve been there a couple of times myself while visiting Stockholm this summer and bought some beautiful items for our home. You find a little bit of everything there, nice lighting, cute little boxes, jewelry and some fashion items. And now also Mooncake shoppingbags. Cheers to that!. :)

This is the moose-bag, one out of  6 different designs., available here :)

The second great thing that i am dying to tell you is actually a secret, but I can give you a hint: It has to do with the Nordic Design Collective calendar for 2015 and what will be in it...
I`ll tell you more when I am allowed to! ;)

We have pretty rainy and cloudy weather here these days which makes me even happier staying inside. ;) Last weekend we invited some friends over for a dinner party and the day after we had breakfast in bed (my daughter gets happy and me paranoid because of possible stains on the bed- (in case you now say: common, you can wash your bedsheets! i want to tell you that our complete bed is made out of fabric and stains stick perfectly on beige)). Though it freaks me out every time, is a great weekend tradition that i hope to continue with for many years to come. :)

After that we went to kuralan kylämäki. it is a really nice place where you can look at old houses and how the interior was back in the days. Also they have a cute little cafeteria with a small, old fashioned shop and the main attraction for kids: sheep and a horse. The good part for us is that it is very close to where we live, open all year around and for free. They even have activities for kids there, which makes it super for cloudy sundays.

This weekend my dad came for a visit, which is rare (since we don`t live in the same country) and always highly appreciated. It is always great to talk to him to put things into perspective. Not to mention my daughter who loves her granddad... When picking him up from the train i learned though that she is scared of loudspeakers. who would have thought?

have a great day, everyone! :)

Our new catalogue is here!

Hello everyone and hoorayy!!! is all i can say!

Finally the official mooncake catalogue is out and i could not be happier. This is what it looks like on my living room carpet:

Sure, if you do something by yourself and put your heart and soul into it, you won`t ever be 100 percent pleased because you see all those little details. But it is done, finished, out and on its way to some cute little (and some beautiful and bigger) shops. :)
(on the pic above you just see a few of them, in real life i have A LOT!)

at least it looks nice on my coffee table, wasnt that the important thing? ;)

have a great wednesday night everyone!! <3

Hello october! :)

Happy october, everyone! :)

october in bavaria, two years ago... :)

Is it as cold and sunny where you are as it is here? We have this beautiful autumn weather going on, that i love particularly much. It is the time to dig out thick scarfs, but still wear sunglasses when you`re going outside. Definitely the time for long walks and deep breaths that make you see the air coming out of the mouth. Love it!! <3 The picture above is not here, but in Bavaria where we went hiking two years ago. It was such a lovely day!

Here in mooncake land i am busy, busy, busy.
while still eagerly waiting for my freshly printed catalogues to arrive, a lot of other things are happening in the meantime.

Let`s start with the happy news that we have a new retailer for our products!! :) We proudly present mooncake moving in, here to www.confidentliving.se .The homepage is beautiful and on our first day online we already got orders. It is always great to kickstart something. :)

Another cool thing is that we`ve upgraded the package design of our fridge magnets. They now come in a pack like this and are available here

We will soon have a new series of fridge magnets coming up, with some new, cool patterns. Stay tuned ;)

Last but especially not least (!!) is the fact that the great time of exhibitions and fairs has started again. oh, how i love autumn!!

So some of our pillows and fridge magnets will join to the hem&villa fair in stockholm!

it starts tomorrow and will go on until the 5th of october. :)
I have had a look into the programme and seen that there are many many great things happening!

so if you are up for a trip or in the stockholm area, go ahead and check it out! it will definitely be worth it! to see the mooncake products, among other beautiful products sold on NDC, visit the stand A08:26.

:)

talking about fairs,  I had an actual "fair weekend" two weeks ago, where i spent the saturday at the kids fair in Turku with my husband and little one. It was great with rabbits jumping over fences, alpaccas to pet and all kinds of things to do for children. My daughter was madly in love with "ville viking", who is the mascot of the big viking line ships going between sweden and finland and who she got to dance with on the fair. Also many different local clothing brands were present and had special offers, which was nice.

On sunday we made a daytrip to helsinki and visited our sweet friends and kid`s godparents. While being there i went to habitare fair, finlands biggest furniture and light fair. it is always great to see new things, talk to interesting people and get inspired.

so now i`ll pour myself another cup of coffee and continue with this day! :) have a good one you too!!
